A popular country pub near Marlborough in Wiltshire has been saved with the support of almost 拢240,000 from the Community Ownership Fund.
Although the pub originally closed in March 2020 it is now back open; serving pints and food to visitors near and far.
A pub run by the community
Originally named 皇冠体育app Wheatsheaf, 鈥樆使谔逵齛pp Silks鈥� has been part of Ogbourne St Andrew for over 100 years. 皇冠体育app pub shut during the pandemic, but local campaigners managed to raise almost 拢250,000 to help reopen it. 皇冠体育app pub is now run by a dedicated group of local volunteers.
New and improved facilities
皇冠体育app Community Ownership funding has supported a range of improvements to the pub.

- upgrades to the kitchen
- better accessibility
