皇冠体育app student had complete four circuits as part of an instructional flight and on the base leg of the fifth circuit the student called that he was 鈥榯aking the gear鈥�. On finals the student carried the 鈥榝inals鈥� check which included checking the green 鈥榙own and locked鈥� indication for the landing gear. 皇冠体育app approach was normal and there was very little wind. 皇冠体育app aircraft touched down with the underside of the fuselage scraping along the runway, before coming to a rapid stop. 皇冠体育app engine was shut down immediately and both the student and instructor evacuated the aircraft without difficulty. 皇冠体育app instructor had checked the three green, down and locked indication for the landing gear on the previous circuit, but on the final circuit she could not see past the student鈥檚 hand to check the landing gear position indication.
