Summary:

皇冠体育app pilot reported that the weather was CAVOK, the wind was from 040潞 at 15 kt and it was 鈥渂lustery鈥�. 皇冠体育app pilot stated that after landing fast and 鈥渁 little heavy鈥� on the grass section of Runway 09, it then rolled for approximately two seconds before it hit a small ridge or pot hole. 皇冠体育app aircraft quickly became airborne again achieving a height of approximately 5 ft agl. 皇冠体育app nose of the aircraft subsequently dropped quickly which the pilot was unable to raise before the aircraft landed on its nose wheel. 皇冠体育app nose leg collapsed and the propeller subsequently struck the ground. 皇冠体育app aircraft then veered to the right and continued down Runway 18, which also has a grass surface, before coming to rest just off the edge of Runway 18. 皇冠体育app pilot and his passenger vacated the aircraft uninjured. 皇冠体育app pilot reported, in hindsight, that he should have repositioned the aircraft downwind from the final approach due to the approach being unstable. Inspection by the repair agency revealed damage to the nose leg, the nose wheel fairing, the propeller, the engine mount and the heater box. 皇冠体育app engine had also been shock loaded.
