Summary:

皇冠体育app pilot was making an approach to Runway 22 in a light south-westerly wind. As the aircraft touched down on the grass runway, a gust of wind took it off the centreline. 皇冠体育app pilot attempted to regain the centreline and to slow the aircraft with the brakes. 皇冠体育app right brake proved more effective than the left, causing the aircraft to enter a skid, during which the nose gear detached and the left wingtip contacted the ground. 皇冠体育app aircraft then departed the right side of the runway and collided with tree saplings; the pilot was uninjured.
