Summary:
When the pilot initially lowered the landing gear, the green 鈥榙own-and-locked鈥� light did not illuminate; this was due to a misaligned downlock microswitch on the left main landing gear. 皇冠体育app pilot operated the emergency hand pump to manually extend the gear, on landing the nose leg collapsed. No other faults were found with the landing gear system and it is possible that during the manual extension there was insufficient pressure applied to fully lock down the nose leg.
